Hawzah News Agency –Islam has long been described as the fastest growing religion in the world, however, its rise has also been marked with a rise in Islamophobia. Yet, parents continue to use the beloved name.
According to parenting website BabyCentre, the name of Islam’s holy Prophet was the most popular name for boys in 2021, meaning the beloved Muslim name has held the top spot for the fifth year in a row.

BabyCentre said the name also tops the website’s most popular boys’ name of the entire decade. While other high ranking baby names for boys and girls in 2021 with Muslim connections include: Fatima, Ali and Layla.
